Board books are all very well, but they're not as much fun as pulling at and ripping apart magazines and newspapers.

Today I walked the length of the loungeroom while holding on to my little trolley. I have actually done it before, but this was the first time that Mum has seen me do it. She was so ecstatic that I walked up and down another three times. I was pretty pleased with myself!

I can now stand hands free for quite a long time. Yesterday I even bent down to pat Mummy and then stood up again. It won't be long before I'll be able to run away from Oskar when he's being mean to me. That'll be good.

Mum, Dad and I went for a walk this afternoon (Oskar is at Nan and Grandad's). We went to a little park nearby where I climbed up some stairs and peered at another little boy playing there. I had great fun in the swing - Daddy pushed me really high and Mummy kept trying to stop him from pushing so hard. It was lots of fun and I giggled away in the seat. I don't get to go for walks very often, but I really like it when we do.
