I took my first steps without holding onto anything a few days ago! Pretty pleased I was too, as was Dad who I walked towards. I was a bit wobbly, but that's okay. I showed Mum how I walked later in the day, and also took a step towards Oskar yesterday. I didn't want to get too ambitious, because I didn't trust Oskar to catch me if I fell, but he seemed impressed.

I'm trying to keep up with my friend Jack, who took some steps the day before me. I spent a wonderful day at his house on Saturday with Mum and Oskar and Jack's family. I've never seen so many toys, so I spent all my time exploring all the wonderful things to play with. I had a couple of naps in the portacot, then resumed my pottering around. We spent a bit of time outside where there were swings, grass, trees and chooks. Mum sat me on the grass but it was a bit spiky, so I sat there with one foot off the ground, and then the other while I looked around at the trees.

Once again, Mum nearly forgot to give me my lunchtime breastfeed. I had it at about 2.30pm this time.
